Fave day of the month....when my monthly wellness Fave day of the month....when my monthly wellness box arrives. I order my oils from Young Living but also all my plant based products too. Laundry soap, cleaning, supplements, make up, toothpaste I get it all in one box each month. It’s basically a loyalty program and for being on it I get a lot of points back to order freebies on the things I would buy anyway. No brainer for me, I don’t have to worry about what’s in my products they’re natural, safe and clean and they pay me back for using them. Ok thank you. You’re the best. Will show you what I got this month on my stories.
Hey, how are you? Not sure how it’s Monday again Hey, how are you? Not sure how it’s Monday again and half term is over. Jumped straight back into home learning this morning and am wondering if I’m losing my mind whilst showing Ollie how to do fractions with dog treats?!
Finished school and got onto a zoom call with our amazing oils biz girls. I am full of gratitude for these girls who work so hard each day alongside me. Now I’m going to sit and plan some fun things for the team with my cuppa and some peace and calming in the diffuser.
How was your first day back? Hope it went well.
So I did a thing. I wanted to make a new updated b So I did a thing. I wanted to make a new updated blog and came up with the name The natural nook. Then I got to thinking that it would be nice if it linked across to my Instagram too. So here we are an updated insta that’s feels like a lovely fresh start. Still the same things you’ve always known. How we love our oils, life at home with us and hopefully soon, when the world opens again, more of our adventures in Martha the campervan and some brighter days ahead ♥
Today’s win? Cleaned the bathroom! ⁣ One of my Today’s win? Cleaned the bathroom!
⁣
One of my favourite places in our house since changed it 18 months ago.
⁣
It used to be two rooms, toilet and shower with the boiler water tank in it too. We knocked it through and removed the tank to create lots more space. I love a bath and Michael loves a shower so we put both in.
⁣
Here’s a run down of my fave bathroom products that I get in my YL subscription box:
⁣
Mint facial scrub
Charcoal bar soap
Mirah cleansing oil
Lavender and mint Shampoo
Copiaba Conditioner
Bath and body base to make my own scented shower gel
Eucalyptus oil

I was just having this conversation in one of our groups so tell me what’s your favourite bath or shower?
Just scrolled my photos and found this picture of Just scrolled my photos and found this picture of Barney only a couple of weeks ago! He’s growing so fast. Made me realise the weeks fly by, we are all in a season where life is a hard, we can’t see the people we love, remote learning is difficult, the work juggle is real! But the seasons do change, we can do this friends. Wishing you a happy, restful weekend. xx
I haven’t been out anywhere since Christmas time I haven’t been out anywhere since Christmas time. Today we took Barney to the vets for his second jabs. Felt strange, almost like I’ve forgotten what you do out there. Using lots of Thieves products today. When I put it inside my mask it makes me feel like the original Thieves in the legendary tale. Have you heard it? It’s where this protective blend originates.
I woke up this morning and the sun is shining. Fou I woke up this morning and the sun is shining. Found myself wishing we could hop in the Campervan and disappear for an adventure.

Instead I’m going to head to my potting shed and start to think about what we’re going to grow this year at the allotment.

If you could go anywhere right this minute where would it be?
How are your littles doing at the moment? It’s q How are your littles doing at the moment? It’s quite amazing how they’ve coped with all the changes and uncertainty don’t you think?

I’m really interested in how your children are doing their school work?

Are they online on live lessons or are they doing worksheets etc?

Oily friends do your kiddos reach for oils themselves?

We love Frankincense, lavender, seedlings calm or Gentle baby diffused in the evenings for a calm bedtime.

I’ve reached for my oils many, many times this week and they’ve helped us so much. If you’d like to try any oils for helping little minds wind down, let me know. I’ll put a little something together for you in the post. x
How’s the lockdown juggle going? Does anyone els How’s the lockdown juggle going? Does anyone else feel so much more organised when the house is sorted? A couple of things I’ve been doing to keep on top of the house as we adjust to our new routine again plus the addition of the new pup

Don’t feel you have to tackle the whole house in one go. Move from room to room cleaning up one area at a time. Sounds obvious but as I check off one room at a time I feel I’m really getting somewhere

Get rid of things you don’t need. It’s been so freeing to me to let things go and therefore have a home for everything making the house much easier to tidy

Little and often helps me so much. If the washing piles up I really struggle. Get one load washed and put away before the next is finished and you’ll feel like a winner!

Have a cleaning basket in the bathroom. I have a separate bottle of Thieves cleaner and soft scrub in the bathroom with some clean cloths. Just having the things right there to do quick clean means it gets done more often

Diffuse fresh and clean oils.....the air quality in you house is really important especially now we’re spending so much time at home. Use great quality essential oils and your body will thank you for it.

Got any top tips for me on how you stay in top of things?

Did you know you can make your own bath salts by a Did you know you can make your own bath salts by adding your favourite essential oils to plain Epsom salts?

I save my empty oil bottles and put them into a jar of salts, this way the salts draw out the last drops of oil left in the bottles.

Alternatively add a couple of drops to a handful of salts, let them sink in then throw into your bath.

Here’s a few of my favourites:

Panaway & Rosemary
Frankincense & Lavender
Stress away
Eucalyptus Radiata

If you’ve got a fave oil you add to your bath let me know in the comments because I’d love to try it 🤩
